Blogmas Day Six - Blogmas Post ideas

When i decided to do blogmas i had all these ideas but never wrote them down instead whenever i thought off one id say i must write that down then carry on watching Netflix bad mistake as now im trying to get a few blogmas posts under my belt so im not writing them the day they go up and i cant remember any off my ideas. Blogmas Day Five - The christmas specials im looking forward to this year

Dr Who

Have to say not a huge fan of Dr Who now Peter Capaldi is the Doctor but its a tridition in our house to watch the christmas special while eating apple crumble and thats the bit im most looking forward to. According to the Radio-times website Dr Who will be on at 5:45 Christmas Day on BBC 1.

Still open all hours

I love open all hours - i wasn't born while it was on but thanks to places like YouTube and gold on sky i get to watch it i stumbled across it 2 years ago i think i fell in love with it and love having it on in the background while im doing stuff and i love the remake they haven't changed anything which i love and it has auntie Mabel in from come outside and Del boy from only fools and horses aka Lynda baron and David Jason. According to the Radio-Times Website Still Open All Hours will be on at 8:30 on boxing day on BBC1.

Birds of a Feather

As with open all hours i wasn't around when birds of a feather started but watched the revival when it came back its very tongue and cheek and i haven't watched the older episodes just the new ones but the christmas special this year looks really funny. According to the Radio-times Website Birds of a feather will be on at 8pm Christmas Eve on ITV.





The Great Christmas Bake Off

Im really looking forward to this as it will be the last ever bake off as we know it i mean sure il watch the first episode of the new one but i dont think il like it so i will be cherishing this bake off knowing full well when its over that is it which is really sad ): According to Radio-times Bake off will air 4:45 Pm on christmas day on BBC1 with part two following on boxing day at 7pm.

Mrs Browns Boys

Its like marmite you either love it or hate it. I was one of them who hated it until one night nothing else was on and i really wasn't paying attention and left it on and found myself laughing along with it. Some parts are very predictable which does annoy me but others your laughing your socks off at.According to Radio-times Mrs Browns Boys will be on at 10:30 Christmas Day on BBC1.


Blankety Blank

I love Lilly Savages version of Blankety Blank i love watching it on challenge its really funny. I was really excited to hear that it was coming back but disappointed to find out that it wasn't Paul ogrady doing it but i love David Walliams i just hope he doesn't ruin it. According to Radio Times Blankety Blank will be on at 6:30 Christmas eve on ITV.

For the love of dogs

This show just makes me want to adopt all the cats and dogs even though they dont show many cats. I haven't got a time or day for when this will be on yet but its normally on christmas day check back with me when radio times goes on sale and i will of updated this and il put a link on twitter as well (:

Blogmas Day four -13 reasons why i love christmas

I get in to the christmas spirit around June then it seems to go away again until September when somethings are out for christmas but as soon as it hits October its like bam full christmas spirit i couldn't care less that its Halloween and bonfire night im like christmas christmas christmas.

1. I love how festive it makes me feel 

2. Its the happiest time of the year 

3.The cold weather makes everything cosy 

4. Starbucks and costa's Christmas drinks menu 

5.Fairy Lights everywhere

6.Giving Gifts

9. The Smell of apple crumble baking (that might just be one for me)

13. Over-sized hoodies (even if your single just buy a few sizes up)

Christmas is my favorite time of the year i wouldn't be me if i didn't get festive and start listening to christmas songs in September - I know im not the only one.

Blogmas Day Three - The Worst Christmas Films

I wasn't planning on doing this but when i was writing my best Christmas movies post if you haven't read that then click here that theirs a load of christmas films i hate - hate is a strong word lets say dislike. As i said in my previous post we are all entitled to our own opinion and if we all liked the same movies life would be boring. I think this post will shock some off you as theirs a couple of quite popular christmas movies in this list.

Before you all shout at me i have given this film some serious viewing but each time i have to turn it off i just cant stand watching it i dont know whether its Will Ferrell i cant stand in this film and maybe if Jim Carrey was in it then maybe i would like it or whether its just the whole film but for me this one is a nope.

Home Alone

This whole film collection i think is so overrated and im not a fan i could go in to my reasons but then we would be here all of december.

This is one of my mums favorite films so i may get in to trouble for this so sorry in advance mum they got told not to feed them after midnight not to get them wet and no bright lights and they break all the rules and wonder why they change from cute things to evil menaces.

Blogmas day two - The best Christmas movies

I love my Christmas movies and watch a lot of them throughout November and December and thought id compile a list of the best Christmas movies in my opinion.
How fitting is this post as im watching the Grinch while writing this.
If you dont see your favrouites here then it means either iv not seen them or i just dont like them and thats ok we are all entilted to like different things if we didnt then we'd all be boring and that would suck lol.

I had to put the Grinch first its my all time fave Christmas film so much so that i can recite the film almost no i dont need to get a life you do lol come on i only watch it 3 or 4 times a week during November and December ok re reading that maybe i do need to get a life lol. This film makes me feel so christmasy whenever i watch it i could be in the worse mood ever put this on and it instantly makes me happy (:

It took me a while to love this film as i found the first part boring but once i got past that and watched it more and more i love it (: its the perfect mix of sentimental and funny.

A Christmas Kiss And a Christmas Kiss 2

The story is the same in each film thats why i grouped them together. Around this time channel 5 normally has a Christmas kiss on so if you haven't seen it before but want to then i suggest having a look. I find the films really cheesy but they are good to have on in the background while doing other stuff and you'll still be able to follow the story i prefer a Christmas kiss 2 just because iv watched it more then the first one.


A Christmas Carol










Whether its a muppets Christmas carol Jim carreys version or the original (i hope its the original if not its the one iv always watched) . I think its important to watch either this or its a wonderful life i personally cant watch all the way though a wonderful life but love the message behind it and i think a Christmas carol does the message quite well to in a less traumatic way for younger audiences. The message is always be grateful for who and what you have and realize that your not alone if your nice to others others are nice back to you and that Christmas is not about material things its about being with the people you love.

The Santa Clause 1,2,3













For me personally the first film takes me a while to get in to as its a bit boring to start with but as soon as you get past him at work and it gets in to the film then i love it. I love the play on the word clause as its not spelt like Santa Claus. I love the first two if im being honest i cant remember what happens in number three il have to see if its on Netflix once iv finished this post and watch it. These films are just feel good films and if you haven't watched them yet i recommend you do (:

Bridget Jones

I know some people will say its not a Christmas film but seeing as it has a Christmas tree in it i say it is. Bridget Jones is one of my all time favorite movies Christmas or not. It has Hugh Grant and Colin Firth in it again need i say more lol . Its not just a single girls film.

I honestly thought i liked more christmas movies then this. I have discovered that by doing this there is a lot of christmas films i dont like so come back tomorrow and see which ones i dont like

Blogmas day one - The christmas tag

So i thought what with this being a new blog and all and since im not doing vlogmas this year (blogpost on why im not can be found Here .that i would do blogmas its not going to be all tags well ok a few will be thrown in but i thought to kick us off for blogmas i would do the old favorite liked by youtubers and bloggers alike its the christmas tag i will just say i typed in the christmas tag to google and clicked on the first blog that came up so it maybe the one your familiar with or might not as i thought it only had ten questions but this one has 17 lol and without further ado lets get on with the questions 


1. What is your favorite christmas film ? 

The Grinch of course it just makes me feel so christmasy and i love the song featured in it - where are you Christmas - faith hill



2. Have you ever had a white christmas ? 

Growing up in England you would think i have seeing as many people think it just rains and is cold all the time but alas i dont think iv ever had a white christmas we tend to have snow before christmas or it starts on boxing day 

3. Where do you normally spend the holidays ?

At my mums we see family before christmas day but christmas day its self we spend at my mums 

4. Whats your favorite christmas song 

Shakin Stevens - merry christmas everyone - just puts me in such a good christmasy mood though i have to say that Santa in the video looks a little creepy 

5. Do you open any presents christmas eve ? 

When my mum and dad were together we were never allowed we being me and my brother but once they split up it became a tradition to open all of dads presents but as we got older mum restricted it to just opening one of dads on christmas eve. 

6. Can you name all of santas reindeer ?

7. What christmas traditions are you most looking forward to this year ?

A couple of days before christmas we visit my grandma and do what we call a present run and exchange presents with the rest of the family and see my uncle and his wife who live in america so we only get to see them at christmas. Christmas eve we do the mad dash to crystal peaks for things we have forgotten and then christmas morning we always eat breakfast before going to open presents thats something my parents have always assisted on. 

8. Is your christmas tree real or fake ? 

We have tried a real christmas tree when i was a tiny baby i remember it from photos but my mum hated the clean up so since then we have always had fake trees which is easier now we have animals. 

9. What is your all time Favorite holiday food/sweet treat 

Unless i take my lactase tablets i cant really eat chocolate unless i have the dairy free equivalent. but christmas day after the dinner has been eaten and you have announced that your not eating anything else till new years your that stuffed someone will go anyone for afters or pudding and of course you say yes and my mum makes the best dairy free apple crumble so after the ramble thats my fave holiday food. 

10. Be Honest: Do you like receiving gifts or giving gifts better ?

If you had asked me a couple of years ago my answer would of been receiving presents but as iv gotten older and been able to buy presents myself i much prefer going out buying them wrapping them and seeing people open them (:

11. What is the best christmas gift you have ever received ?

Every present i get im so lucky to get so everything iv ever received (:

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season ?

New York with out a shadow of a doubt iv always said if i was ever lucky enough to be able to go to new York then id love to go at Christmas. 

13. Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably ?

Id like to class myself as a pro wrapper and they do look nice but when you watch people struggling to open their presents with the mountain of sellotape you have put on them to make sure no-one has a peak before the big day may beg to differ lol

14. Most memorable holiday moment ?

I dont really have one our Christmases tend to be the same year in year out and i wouldn't have it any other way (: 

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa ?

I either saw my parents taking the presents downstairs on christmas eve or someone told me at primary school and i asked my parents its one of the two its quite late so im not going to ring my mum and ask her lol dont think she'd be to pleased lol.

16. Do you make new year resolutions ? and do you stick to them ?

I always make new year resolutions and i always fail by the 2nd week in January its so bad.

17. What makes the holidays special for you ? 

Seeing family we are all so busy during the year and with one of my uncles living in america we really only see him when he comes over for Christmas so i really cherish the time we all spend together at Christmas.

Why im not doing vlogmas

For the past 2 years i have done vlogmas the first year everyday and the second weekly id love to do it this year but Monday - Friday would be boring due to work or just not doing anything and i found last year that when i weekly vlogged that it wasn't getting as much views as if i had just uploaded daily which is a shame. 
Because YouTube isn't my full time job id love it to be but thats a long way off if ever i unfortunately cant do fun stuff everyday like other youtubers can because i have work or simply because i cant afford to. 
Id love to be able to do the perfect vlogmas but alas not this year im sorry to anyone who looks forward to watching my vlogmas or likes watching it.
 i am doing blog-mas i know its not the same but i hope you can forgive me. My YouTube channel will still have vlogs on it in December and videos but just not vlogmas.

Radox 12H Scent Touch Feel Fresh Body Wash Review

At First i thought it was a little weird to review a body wash dont know why but then i thought why not someone might be wondering if they should buy it or not and may be looking up reviews online so this may be helpful (:

Just a short and sweet review this time il leave the pictures below.

I used this in the shower tonight and loved it - i didn't think i would as i have really sensitive skin and normally stick to what i know my body wont react to but to my surprise there was no itching (: The body wash left my skin feeling so soft and you could smell the blueberries which i love. It lathered up really well and left me and the bathroom smelling amazing. The packaging is lovely and makes  getting the product out to use much easier as some products can get slippery while wet but not this one the product is a light blue when squeezed out which was a surprise i was expecting it to be clear or a dark blue like the packaging.
Im looking forward to using it again and will be repurchasing once this has run out.

Pumpkin Drawing/carving

Hey everyone (:

So i thought this post was apt seeing as its almost Halloween. As a rule i dont do anything for Halloween dont get me wrong i will open the door for about a hour for the trick or treaters but i dont decorate the house or normally buy pumpkins but this year is different. My brother wanted to have a go at carving a pumpkin now this may shock a few people but we have never carved a pumpkin or had pumpkins in the house no idea why just happened that way lol. My brother carved his but wont let me put it in my blog for some reason but seeing as im so clumsy i thought it was wise not to try carving and inevitably cutting myself so i sketched a design out on my pumpkin and when i say sketched i mean i typed in to google no carve pumpkin designs and picked the easiest one i could find as im awful at art but i think it turned out ok il insert some pictures now and you can see for yourselves (:
